Exit Ticket: CSS Step-by-Step Guide

1. When I first read the article for CSS, I didn't understand everything. I didn't understand the abbreviation. Until we went through the process but now I know what it does and means. 2. CSS is cascading style sheet. 3. Then what it does is that is has different values on how you can edit your document. It can change your color background, change the font of the header, it can also change the font size, you can have it as big as you want. 4. When you have just HTML, it's plain; until you add CSS, it makes your blog pop out with fashion.

The Things They Carried

The story is about American veterans in the Vietnam War. The story focuses more on the main character who is the author, Tim O'Brien. He, Tim O'Brien, goes into deep description of his feelings towards his family and the girl he loved during his childhood. The story isn't mainly on him but he does mention other character's who are important; are Lieutenant Jimmy Cross, Rat Kiley, Norman Bowker and Henry Dobbins. Tim O'Brien does a very extraordinary job on describing each of the veterans experience in the Vietnam War and the problems they faced.

The Love Story

So throughout the Vietnam War Lieutenant Jimmy Cross has been writing letters to a lady who's name is Martha. She is a lady who he loves and admires really much. He sends her letters mostly everyday and at times she doesn't write back. Leaves Jimmy Cross stressed out and then the next day she says that she is has been at different places such as Guatemala and Mexico; serving for the people. Then author Lieutenant Jimmy Cross flashes back to horrible memories he's had with his lovely, young and beautiful Martha. One flash back memory would be when he once burned her picture because of the letters she has not written back. He was so furious he burned it. Then when they saw one another she was hurt that he burned her picture, but, she was a strong, independent women to forgive. This love story illustrates that love is all about forgiveness even though you go through difficult problems.

The Disaster

As you begin to read the chapters that go way deeper to the story; the more the tragic description begins. In the Vietnam War Tim O'Brien gives a brief description of what you will see while being in a war. He once described the sharp, bloody traps that one of his friends stepped on. He died because of eternal bleeding. Tim O'Brien was scared to death, he has never been involved in any of this situation. However, as you continue reading the book, more characters pass away and all the main characters in the moves seem to keep going away and continue forward. The author, Tim O'Brien does a really good job describing his past and gives the reader the chills because for me it sure did!
